We can still help for a small additional fee. We’ll collect the car, fit the tyres at the branch and return it to you done, which is ideal if you’re tied up at work or can’t easily get to us during opening hours.

They do, more than most people realise. A hard pothole hit can knock your wheel alignment out, put a bulge in a tyre sidewall, buckle an alloy or throw your wheel balancing off, which shows up as uneven tyre wear or a vibration through the steering. If your car’s pulling to one side or juddering at speed after a rough stretch of road, it’s worth getting the alignment and balancing checked. We’ll show you the readings rather than just charging you for an adjustment you can’t see.

It usually means one of two things: either a tyre is genuinely losing pressure, often from a slow puncture or the cold weather, or a TPMS sensor in the wheel is faulty or has a flat battery. The light can’t tell you which on its own, so we run a TPMS check at Aston to read the system properly, find the real cause and explain what’s going on. From there it might be a simple top-up and reset, a puncture repair, or a sensor replacement, and we’ll tell you which before you commit to anything.

It depends on the tyre you need and how far we’re travelling to you, so we won’t pretend there’s a single flat number. What we will promise is no inflated callout fee bolted on just because it’s urgent or it’s a weekend. We’ll quote you the tyre and the fitting honestly before we do anything, so there are no surprises when we arrive.
