Can I mix budget and premium tyres on the same car?

Yes, as long as both tyres on an axle match in size, construction and tread pattern. Many drivers put premium tyres on the driven axle and budget tyres on the other, which is sound. What to avoid is different tyres left to right on the same axle, because that changes how the car steers and brakes. Ask the technician fitting them and you will get expert advice on what suits your car.
