Are budget tyres safe?

Yes. Every new tyre sold in the UK meets the same minimum safety standards, and each one we fit carries an EU label rating its wet grip, fuel efficiency and noise, so you can compare value for money on measured performance rather than price alone. Budget tyres usually stop a little later in the wet and lose tread sooner than premium tyres, which is the real trade-off, but a properly fitted budget tyre is a legal, roadworthy tyre.
